Your life took a turn for the worse. First your boyfriend, whom you have been dating for two years, dumped you. Then you lost your dream job. Finally you were kicked out of your house for no particular reason. You felt helpless and scared. You didn't know what to do or where to turn and you had nobody to comfort you and tell you that everything was going to be fine. One day you went to see a psychic to see if that could help you feel less hopeless.
You walked into the psychic's tent. There was purple drapery everywhere and in the middle of the tent a table with two chairs, in one of them sat a psychic. She was quite young and pretty with long black hair and dark blue eyes that sparkled.
"I have been waiting for you [Name]" the psychic said in a rhythmic voice.
"Y-You have?" you asked kind of creeped out. You had never been to a psychic before so this was very new to you.
"Yes. Your life has not been very good to you lately has it?" the psychic asked as you sat down.
"No" you said sadly.
"Well that's going to change" The psychic said.
"Really?" you asked curiously.
"Yes. Hop on the next flight to Positano, Italy. When you get there go to the bar in the Le Sirenuse hotel. There you will find your true love, your soul mate." The psychic said in a serious tone.
You thought about it. It's not like you had anything to lose. Why not?
"Ok, so um what do I owe you?" you asked.
"It's on the house dear." She said with a sweet smile.
"Thank you so much!" you said as you raced out of the tent.
You did as the psychic said and packed your remaining clothes and belongings, booked a few nights at the Le Sirenuse hotel, and hoped on the soonest flight to Positano. The flight was long but you didn't mind. The whole flight you were thinking about what this guy would be like. 'I hope he is nice' you thought.
You landed safely and took you luggage into your room. The hotel was undeniably beautiful. By the time you were heading to the bar it was night time. You sat down at a table and waited.
Two hours later, nothing had happened and you lost hope and confidence. You grabbed your purse and headed out the door mumbling angrily.
"This was a stupid idea. Why did I even listen to that stupid psychic?" you grumbled as you continued to walk in the direction of the garden.
You were not looking where you were going and bumped into someone.
"Oh I am sorry" you said as you looked up.
You were not expecting what you saw. You had run into a....mime? Yes there stood a mime in his black and white weirdness. You did not like mimes very much but you were so down that it didn't bother as much as it usually would.
The mime motioned something. You didn't understand what he was standing but he seemed to be asking you what was wrong. You decided to tell him.
You explained how your boyfriend dumped you, and then you lost your job, then your house. Then you went on to explain to the mime what the psychic had said to you. After you finished your long story of what was wrong the mime simply starred at you.
'I am such an idiot!' you thought as you looked at the mime's face. 'Why would I tell a mime about my problems?!?! I mean he is a mime!! He probably doesn't even speak English!' you thought angrily. Suddenly the mime pointed to a bench. You looked at the bench and sitting on the bench was a man, a very handsome man. You looked back at the mime and he nodded. You walked over to the man sitting on the bench. He had brown hair with on curl sticking out of it and very pretty brown eyes. He seemed to be frustrated about something. You sat next to him. You gently tapped his back to get his attention. The man's head snapped toward you.
"Che vuoi?!?" The man snapped.
"umm, I'm sorry I don't understand" you said confused.
"Oh, you speak English." The man said irritated.
"yeah" you responded.
"Well, what do you want?" he asked clearly not wanting anything to do with you.
"I-Um-I wanted to see what was wrong. You look kind of angry." You said.
"Kind of? That's an understatement" he said looking at the ground.
"So, um, are you going to tell me what's wrong?" you asked.
"No" he simply stated.
"Why not?" you asked.
"Because I don't even know you!" He snapped.
"[Name]" you stated.
"What?" he asked.
"[Name], that's my name, what's your's?" you asked.
"Lovino" Lovino muttered.
"Well Lovino, will you tell me what's wrong now?"
"You're so pushy! Why do you even care?" Lovino snapped.
"Do you not want me to care?" you ask.
"N-No, it's not that I don't want you to care. I-It's just that nobody else cares and now you care and you barely know me" he said taken back by your question.
"Well if it makes you feel any better I haven't had that great of a day either" you said.
"Oh yeah?" he asked.
"Yeah" you said then presumed to tell Lovino about how you flew here in hope to meet your soul mate like the psychic said and how the mime pointed you to the bench and what not.
"It sounds like you have had a pretty weird day" Lovino said.
"Yeah, I guess I have" you said smiling.
"So have you ever been here before?" he asked.
"No, this is the first time." You admitted.
"Well I can show you around Italy tomorrow if you want" Lovino offered.
"Really? You would do that?!?" you asked excitedly.
"Yeah sure" he responded.
"Awesome! Thank you!" you said happily as you gave the Italian man a hug. You didn't see him blush at your hug.
"Alright meet me here tomorrow at 11" Lovino said after you stopped hugging him.
"Ok, good night" you said as you walked into the hotel.
